OUR NEW BUILDING ROCKS!

Founded in 2008, Boise Rock School is a nonprofit dedicated to its mission: that all people deserve access to creative music instruction regardless of economic status or other life circumstances. In our 15 year history, we have impacted over 10,000 students.

In December 2019, we embarked on a capital campaign to expand our facilities with the goal of acquiring a permanent, nonprofit owned building. In December 2020, with the generous support of local businesses, foundations, and individuals, we completed our fundraising goal for the purchase of a building and acquired a 7000 sf building at 5022 West Fairview in Boise. This new location will provide more than enough room to accommodate the growth of our programming and provide a permanent home that will be around for many generations.

We are now in the final phase of the campaign where we are raising funds to update equipment and finish the recording studio.

Building design and construction team includes ZGA architects and HC Company. Our new building has 12+ dedicated classrooms, a recording and production studio, outdoor event space, an all-ages venue and offices for administrative support. The new location will serve as an all-ages arts center — a vital cultural hub for future generations.

Boise Rock School is offering naming opportunities to support construction, including sponsoring a classroom for $10,000 (10 opportunities) and sponsoring our upcoming recording and production studio for $30,000 (1 opportunity). Please contact us for details!
