ā Café and My Morning Jacket have teamed up to raise money for Boise Rock School! From July 10th – August 6th, you can swing by ā Café in downtown Boise and enjoy a refreshing drink or a tasty bite from their My Morning Jacket inspired specials. A percentage of the sales will be donated to help young musicians grow, learn and rock!

We are also excited to announce that we are Lost Grove’s Powerful Pints Partner for July – September! When you check out at Lost Grove, you will have the option to round up to the nearest dollar and the proceeds will be donated to Boise Rock School. Lost Grove is a family-friendly (and dog-friendly) brewery that offers a diverse food and beer menu. We will have youth band and adult bands performing on the back patio every Friday in July and August, so come down to enjoy the sunshine and awesome tunes!

The proceeds from the ā Cafe and Lost Grove fundraisers will go directly towards our student scholarship program and our outreach program. We believe that everyone deserves access to creative music instruction, regardless of economic status, geographical location, or other life circumstances. We scholarship hundreds of students every year (~$50,000 in scholarships given away in 2024) and bring our outreach program, Rock On Wheels, to places like St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital, Ada County Juvenile Detention Center, Title One Schools, Camp Rainbow Gold, Public Libraries, and many other institutions that work with youth in the Treasure Valley and beyond.

We would not be able to do the empowering work that we do without the generous support from our community. Your donation, whether it’s $0.50 or $100, goes way beyond money. It fuels creativity, hands kids the tools to grow, and gives them a place where they truly belong. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of the next generation!
